Locking Elements

In machinery construction or product assemblies, locking elements are used to perform a restraining role in the mechanical assembly.

We offer a wide range of Locking Elements. These include locking Pins, Washers, Circlips, Lock Nuts, Shackles and Links, etc. They perform various functions all related to locking as part of a mechanical assembly. They are very useful components that are used to compensate for vibration, prevent lateral movement, constraint members, provide alignment etc.

Industrial PINS

Industrial pins are fasteners that are used to locate align or join components mainly in automobile and industrial machinery sectors.

Split cotter pins – DIN 94

AISI 304 and AISI 316

Solid dowel pins – DIN 7

Spring dowels pins – DIN 1481

Also known as slotted pins or spring pins.

AISI 301 and AISI 316

Coiled Spring Pins or Spiral Dowels – ISO 8750

Also called Spiral pins

AISI-301 and AISI-316

Headed Grooved Pins – DIN 1476 , Threaded taper pins – DIN 7978

Our range is available in various diameters, thicknesses and lengths as per our client’s requirements.

Made from Steel, Spring Steel and Stainless Steel – Grades AISI 301, 304 and 316

Circlips or Retaining Rings

These are semi flexible rings that are used to prevent lateral movement. They need to be plastically deformed to install and remove.

Available in the following types : External Circlips – DIN 471 , Internal Circlips – DIN 472 , Type E Circlips – DIN 6799

Snap Rings DIN 9925 DIN 9926 : Starlock Push Fastener ; Available in Spring Steel and Stainless Steel – 1.4122

Locking Washers

Bolt and Nut assemblies tend to become loose due to vibration and torque. Lock washers are designed to prevent bolts and nuts from turning, slipping and coming loose. There are various types and models with each type suitable for a particular application. The types available with us include the following.

Split Lock Washers – DIN 7980 DIN 127B

Disc Spring Washers – DIN 2093

Star Washers – DIN 6797A External and DIN 6797J Internal.

Serrated Safety Washers Type S – Schnorr Type

Afnor Contact Washers – NF E-25 511

Conical Spring Washers – DIN 6796

Heico-Lock Wedge-Lock Washer

Vibration can cause functional failure of assemblies and joints. One solution is Wedge-Lock Washers. Our range of Heico-lock washers are available in Steel, SS-316L and 254-SMO.

Links And Shackles

A shackle or a Link are primary locking fasteners, connecting links in all manner of rigging systems, from boats and ships to industrial crane rigging, as they allow different rigging subsets to be connected or disconnected quickly.

They are Turnbuckles , Quick Links , Wire Rope Clips , Spring Hooks , Wire Rope Clip and D Shackles

Locking Nuts

Lock nut, also referred to as a nylon-insert lock nut, polymer-insert lock nut, or elastic stop nut, is a kind of locknut with a nylon collar insert that resists turning.

Nylock Nuts

DIN 982 and DIN 985

All Metal Lock Nuts for heavy locking.

Stainless Steel AISI 304 and 316

Half Nuts as per DIN 439

Cage Nuts

Threadlockers

Lock threaded assemblies while protecting against vibration, corrosion and galling.

A threadlocker is an anaerobic adhesive used on threaded metals that cures at room temperature in the absence of air. The adhesive completely fills the gaps between mating threads to lock and seal the threaded assembly.

Benefits of Using Threadlockers

  • Locks mating threads to prevent loosening from vibration & shock
  • Seals against fluids & corrosion
  • Provides lubricity to achieve controlled torque during assembly
  • Works on active metals (e.g., brass, copper) as well as passive metals (e.g., stainless steel, plated surfaces)
  • Resists extreme temperatures
  • Applies easily and cures rapidly

Hose Clamps

Interlocked worm gear hose clamps help secure many types of hoses, including pneumatic and exhaust hoses.

A general-purpose hose clamp is interlocked to prevent shearing, These Clamps mainly consists of four components viz. the captive screw, housing, band & underlap. When the screw is turned, it acts as a worm drive pulling the threads of the band, causing the band to tighten around the hose.

These clamps are used for multiple applications viz. Automobile, Heavy engines, Irrigation, Marine, Railways, Tractors, Pneumatic connections, Electrical cable joints, Chemical, pharmaceutical and other industrial usages.
